How do I work with you?
In my approach to your question, your bodily experience is key. My years of experience have taught me that truly lasting change only takes place when it is also physically anchored, whether it is in coaching, therapy, leadership or group work.
We often think of our bodies as something separate from ourselves. The result of that disconnection is that you feel alienated from yourself, from others and from the world around you. Because of this you lose your inner strength, your innate intelligence and intuitive focus.
I receive you as a complete human being who breathes, senses, perceives, reacts instinctively and thinks. I take your subjective experience as a path to self-awareness and transformation.
By exploring together the felt sense of what you think, feel and believe, we quickly get to the core of your question and create an opening for change that is lasting. Because real change only happens when your neurological pathway is also has changed.
In this way you regain to your natural power.

What is the neurological underpinning of my approach?
My work is mostly based on on the insights around trauma of Wilhelm Reich, Peter Levine, Stephen Porges and Laurence Heller.
Essentially, our behavior is driven by a continuous unconscious cycle: through neuroception, our neural circuitry constantly discerns whether situations or people are safe, dangerous, or life-threatening.
In a split second, our autonomic nervous system responds with a fight, flight, freeze response in the face of danger or with social engagement when we feel safe.
If in our lives we have had traumatic experiences experienced, our autonomic nervous system is often deregulated making us hypersensitive to certain stimuli.
